Backstory
We all have complex stories carried from our childhood. The series is based on my backstory. Significant to each piece is the line work, from needle-like lines seen separately or clustered together in texturized shapes to broader fence-like structures. In the end the series is a varied journey reflecting the complexity of human emotions.

It all began with an idea. How do I describe my story visually. I decided to go with earthy colors, needle-like lines and texture.

Progressing into the series I started to explore line work and more rounded shapes. This included amorphic to ribbon like forms.

Building upon prior work, you see more defined geometric shapes and additional colors to the palette.
